Intensive Care Unit

The new, expanded CMC Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 12-bed fully equipped treatment facility that combines cardiovascular care with all other aspects of intensive care, including state-of-the-art monitoring technology, isolation room and technologically advanced observation rooms.  Opened in mid-2007, design of the convenient first-floor ICU combines top-flight technology, a compassionate staff culture, attention to patient privacy, family-friendly patient visitation, and a beautiful environment.

We have an excellent team of well-trained nurses and cardiovascular technologists who are dedicated to intensive care of critically ill patients.  Our staff-to-patient ratio standard is 2-3 patients per nurse depending on the severity of the patient’s illness.  We find that most of our patients don’t want to leave us and they truly appreciate the kindness, compassion and excellent care they receive in our ICU.  We're here for you, if you need us.
