Orthopedic Surgeon Returns to Carlsbad

Carlsbad Medical Center and Pecos Valley Physician Group are pleased to announce the return of orthopedic surgeon Gene Prendergast, D.O. Dr. Prendergast was previously a member of the medical staff at Carlsbad Medical Center from 2011-2015.
“We’re excited to welcome Dr. Prendergast back to our community,” says Cathy Hibbs, chief executive officer at Carlsbad Medical Center. “Having another orthopedic provider in Carlsbad will keep many patients from having to wait for treatment or travel out of town for orthopedic care.”
As a board certified orthopedic surgeon with 35 years of experience, Dr. Prendergast offers a multi-disciplinary approach to orthopedic care, with the goal of helping patients get back to their active lives quickly.
