Because women's gynecologic health needs change with each stage of life, Carlsbad Medical Center's women's services are designed to provide quality, compassionate care from adolescence through menopause. From annual medical exams and maternity care to treatment or surgery for gynecological cancer and urinary incontinence, the gynecology staff offers patients a range of services from gynecologists and obstetricians. Our women's health care includes:
- Annual pelvic exams and screenings, including Pap tests
- Contraceptive counseling
- Fertility treatment options
- Care throughout all stages of pregnancy
- Urinary incontinence treatment
- Management of menopause symptoms
- Minimally invasive surgical options, including laparoscopic surgery to treat uterine fibroids, endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome, among other conditions
The OB-GYNs at Carlsbad Medical Center work closely with surgeons, nurse practitioners and other health care professionals to deliver medical care to patients that addresses a range of obstetrics and gynecology health concerns.
